The S7 Dream Is Not A Building, It's A Community

There we were, all happily doing what we love to do and in the background of our busy lives we kept hearing of a "new" virus. None of us could fathom the changes it would bring to everything we do on a daily basis. Our team started to talk about it more. Clients were mentioning it while they were at their appointments. We were to send two team members to Connecticut on March 20th for a management course but it seemed as soon as we booked everything, we were cancelling everything. It was like watching dominoes tip over one by one but not knowing where the end was.

In our industry, we are literally touching people at every appointment. The dominoes had finally made it our way and it was only a matter of time before we decided to pause business to uphold our core values. Urgency and self awareness were at the forefront of our minds. We knew that we could possibly spread the virus without even having symptoms and we knew that we could possibly contract the virus and bring it home to our loved ones. When it comes to the health and safety of our team and clients, there is no compromise. With heavy hearts, we paused our business. Within days, our governor had made it state mandated that salons close.

Each one of us were grieving. We texted each other and touched base with clients. Crying became a commonality between all of us but it was also comforting to know we weren't alone in these new feelings. When we say we miss each other, we 100% do. When we say we miss our clients, it's like we had to suddenly say goodbye to our friends from summer camp. We don't for sure know when we will get back to business as usual but we know that when we do, it will be one of the most joyous days of our lives!

Our community has shown us their hearts and it's been absolutely beautiful. The Studio7 dream is still thriving because of that. The support through social media, product purchases and generally keeping in touch with us has been exceptionally comforting. The caretakers are suddenly being taken care of and our hearts are so incredibly grateful and joyful because of it. Thank you, S7 fans and beyond. We feel your love.
